About Us

Anicare Veterinary Group is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team in their established small animal practice in Santry.

Anicare Veterinary Group is a well-established group of practices in North Dublin, and we pride ourselves on an exceptional standard of care for our patients and a great workplace for our staff. Our team consists of 16 Veterinary Surgeons and 25 Veterinary Nurses including support staff across all our practices. Each practice is different, with its own clientele and specialties but our teams are close and supportive of each other. We have many certificate holders in Anaesthesia, Small Animal Surgery, Feline Medicine and more.

Our branch practice in Santry is located opposite the National Athletics Stadium, which is the centre of athletics in Dublin city and home track of Clonliffe Harriers. Santry is only 9 minutes from Dublin airport and has easy access to both the M1 and M50 with plenty of public transport options. Our close-knit team in Santry is a welcoming space who are committed to patient care and a loyal client base. This is a well-equipped practice and will always ensure an interesting and varied caseload. The Santry team consists of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 2 Veterinary Nurses and a receptionist. Our team is friendly and driven. We offer a supportive environment and actively encourage personal, professional development with our fully funded certificates.

The Role

  • This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours/5 days per week located in our Santry practice.
  • Shifts are 9am to 6pm or 10am to 7pm with 1 in 3 weekend clinics. There is no Out of Hours or on call.
  • The day-to-day duties encompass general nursing duties including medical nursing, surgical nursing, inpatient care, client care and nurse consultations.
  • Salary for this role is up to €35,000 commensurate with experience.

  • The suitable candidate must be registered with the VCI and eligible to work in Ireland.
  • The candidate should be hardworking and diligent individual that uses their initiative.
  • Experienced RVN’s and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
