About the Awards
The event celebrates excellence in graduate recruitment through a combination of awards judged by student popular vote and by an expert panel. There are 19 awards in total. The five Expert Panel awards are:
- The best student marketing campaign
- The best work experience or internship programme
- The diversity recruitment award
- The best small recruiter
- The best graduate training and development
In addition to these five awards, there are 13 awards voted for by students in the following sectors:
- accountancy/professional services;
- construction and property;
- consulting;
- engineering;
- financial services;
- FMCG;
- investment and investment banking;
- IT and telecoms;
- law;
- public service;
- retail;
- science
- transport and logistics.
There is also the AHEAD award for the most outstanding contribution to access and disability in graduate recruitment, the GCI award for the outstanding contribution to developing employability and skills in the curriculum and the gradireland Lifetime Achievement award. The final award of the evening, Ireland’s most popular graduate recruiter, goes to the employer with the highest number of student votes.
The Awards dinner is preceded by the annual gradireland Graduate Recruiters' Conference, bringing together over 150 graduate recruiters and third level careers advisers to share information and learn from the experiences of others.
